Options and accessories

Optional factory equipment on Volkswagen cars is identified by so-called “M-codes”. With help from Simon Glen (Australia) and Adriaan Pienaar (South Africa) I have attempted to cross-reference several sources to come up with this list.

VW Type 4s were produced in several countries and some options were specific to those countries. Not all of these are not reflected here.

In addition to factory-installed extras dealers offered their own accessories as well.
